In the first she basically keeps insisting that I am somehow a bullying 'expert', even though I make no such claim anywhere. Yes, I used to teach bullying workshops in high schools, but that hardly makes me an 'expert'. It just means I know a bit more about the issue than the average person, and can recognize bullying. And guess what? I can even recognize it in myself. Where has this ridiculous notion come from that just because one writes a blog post on something that automatically means they can NEVER do or be what they have written about? Did I profess to be some sort of saint that never gets a kick out of pushing someones buttons? NO!
And the second she keeps beating the dead horse, only now she thinks she is so awesome for having found out my real name. Ooooh! Not like it isn't at the end of many of my YouTube videos, or on Google. What an amazing feat that was Ophelia. *Slow Clap*
See the difference with me is I fully admit to being a bitch when it comes to all this shit on FTB and Atheism Plus. Ya, I like being snarky and sarcastic. I like pointing out the blatant hypocrisy and inability of these delicate feminist flowers over at FTB to function like normal human beings. I don't deny it in any way. These people are disgusting and mirror fundies to a T.
My compassion only goes so far, and these morons have been playing the victim card so fucking long that any empathy I may have once had is now long gone. There is nothing nice I can say about any of these idiots. I have no compassion for any of them.
It's kind of like kicking a dog. If you kick it long enough it's going to turn on you and attack you. These people over at FTB and now Atheism Plus have been attacking people long enough. They have been lying, spreading misinformation, and have been just plain hateful to so many people in the last year+, and still are on a daily basis, that I have fucking had it.
I have tons of compassion and empathy for others. I care for animals, kids, the elderly, men, and women. I have the utmost respect for those that deserve it. These scumbags don't deserve my respect, compassion or empathy. Not this late in the game.
Right on. My only quibble is that this has been going on far longer than a year. It's closer to a decade now that Pharyngula has been encouraging people to go forth and troll in the name of assholery. What's changed now is that they Started targetting the larger community of atheists, and found them more than willing to respond in kind. Guess going after Christians for so long didn't prepare them for tougher game.

Perhaps she's got a bit of an old person's chirpie in her head.
